Time passes, I hear them creak
If only they could speak
Ask now! Before it’s too late
Of their life and fate
Slip into cool sheets
under the cover
Two people meet
You and your lover
Touching a must
A kiss, a caress
Building trust
No duress
Fingers do touch
Exploring
Intense, too much?
Eyes Imploring
Radiating glow
Bathed in sweat
Nice and slow
So glad to have met
Breaths short and shallow
Bodies tingling
Minds now mellow
Hearts mingling
Laying sated
Hearts that raced
having mated
Lovers embraced.
Lay in the glow
Gone with the flow
Everything slow
To sleep we go.
Colours vivid
Colours bright
Texture livid
Radiating bright
Cottages rural
Pen and ink
Not done as a mural
Shaded as the sun sinks
Autumn leaves
So vivid and right
Oh let me please
Hold them so light
Abstract art deco
Grace and whirls
Lucid memories echo
Canvas covered swirls
Beach scene
Evoking holidays abroad
Laid back and serene
Paintings on board
Sunflower so warm
Head in full bloom
Sit and look until dawn
Paintings so rich, warmth filling room.

Streams full and rushing
Young boy splashing
Wellies wet, dashing
Water lapping,
Small hands smacking.
Face wet, dripping.
Little boy grinning
Eyes wide, winning.
Photo taken, smiling
Memories making.
Enchanting.
Rain drops hiding my tears
Holding inside deep, all of my fears
Of doom and gloom I write
Dark heavy clouds, no sunlight.
Walls are moving in,
Holding captive all of my sins
Darkness pervades
No sunshine to cast any shade.
In the darkness, no light
Save your smile so bright
I scribe the blues in gloom
Finger pointing inwards, indicating doom.
Time rushes by fast,
More now behind, in the past
Try to keep your mind light
Let your dreams take flight.
