Wherever there is a food market, I always like to go and take photos. I love the way that the market traders display their foods, always so tempting! Here are some of my favourite stalls
This is also the first time I have added a gallery to the blog! Photo101 weekend challenge!
A lone supplicant kneeling at the doors of Notre Dame in Paris . All around her were crowds of tourists, laughing , chatting, moving about their business, but here she knelt, oblivious to the sounds around her. For a brief moment, the crowds of people all moved away and I was able to capture her moment of solitude.
Solitude at Notre Dame
I found this theme a difficult one, but this photo combines lots of elements that make me very happy. Firstly it was taken in Paris, my most favourite city in the world, the place where my creative dreams take me. Next the flowers, I love flowers, I love the sheer sensuality of them, colours, smells, touch, so this stall in Paris may not be “bliss” but its pretty special to me.
A riot of pinks and purples
For most people, getting on the “Paris Eye” Ferris wheel is very easy, even mundane. When you have vertigo..trust me, its an adventure!

Looking down one of the long, long, avenues in this park in Paris. I like the crossing shadows
My friends and I take a similar photo ,” The Harry Worth ” wherever we visit, I don’t know why really, but its a bit of a tradition now 🙂
Weekly Photo challenge
Ah, steeds, steeds, what steeds!
Has the whirlwind a home in your manes?
Is there a sensitive ear, alert as a flame, in your every fibre?
Hearing the familiar song from above, all in one accord you strain your bronze chests and, hooves barely touching the ground, turn into straight lines cleaving the air, and all inspired by God it rushes on!

Solitary female kneeling outside of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris – inspired by desire?
