My first attempt at a challenge for Nancy Merrill’s Photo a Week Challenge. This week is Halloween and I happened to take a photo recently that seems to be spooky enough!
For this week’s Daily Post photo challenge – the theme is rounded.
I love this steam punk, weirdly gothic clock mechanism.
This weeks’ Photo Challenge is “Elemental”. This photo was taken as we watched this storm blow in from the sea.. moments later we were engulfed in the middle of it..it was spectacularly loud and bright with thunder and lightening all around us. Then just as suddenly..it passed over and it was back to bright sunshine.
Now here in the South West of the UK, we have had a strange Summer…as is usual! Today it feels like that first day of Autumn.. although we have well over a month before the offical start. I decided not to be too grumpy about the weather and grabbed my camera for some raindrop photos.
The Daily Post topic is Satisfaction.. Is there anything more satisfying than swimming in warm water in a Sicilan infinity pool overlooking the ocean on a cloudless sunny day?
Just back from a holiday on the wonderful island of Sicily. Every evening finished with the most amazing sunsets over the sea
This week’s Daily Post Photo challenge is Bridge.
This is the lovely spot of Bickleigh Mill, hidden away in Mid Devon. And a bridge, under a bridge !
This week’s photo challenge is to share a picture that symbolizes transitions, change, and the passing of time.
Every Summer, we eagerly wait for the arrival of our Swallows..and when they depart in late Summer, we know that Autumn and Winter are just round the corner.
This week’s photo challenge is transient. These balloons caught up on trees have had their short lives halted for a brief moment.
