Every Garden I go to this year seems to have a stunning array of purple plants. I love them. From Iris to Allium, the power of purple is strong!

This week’s Photo challenge is Close up. As it says:
Macro photography allows us to see the world in a new light. Some of the best macro subjects may appear mundane at first — things you’d normally pass by without giving a second glance — but get just a little closer and there’s often a hidden beauty to be discovered.
My first entry for the challenge set by Sunday Stills Photography. The flowers are heather in the foreground and a range of cyclamen behind them.
This week, Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge is for colourful monotones! what a great challenge. My photo these week are from stone dogs to hydrangeas.
I found this theme a difficult one, but this photo combines lots of elements that make me very happy. Firstly it was taken in Paris, my most favourite city in the world, the place where my creative dreams take me. Next the flowers, I love flowers, I love the sheer sensuality of them, colours, smells, touch, so this stall in Paris may not be “bliss” but its pretty special to me.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is contrasting colours…I love them!!!
Gloriously sunny Gallardia flowers against my blue painted shed
Butterfly on Buddleia
and finally lovely red lily!
